It has been developed as a very large business as to make your webpage rank higher in search pages and Google particularly... Of course we know how important is to be found in the first results in web searches.

In fact there is a whole bunch of courses and books about Search Engine Optimization (S.E.O.). The truth is that all the methods try to find how the ranking algorithms work and "persuade" them that your page is important for that specific keyword(s). This is very important if you have customers that want their page to be first no matter what keywords or search phrases are used.
